Illinois police confirmed that toxicology results show Illinois gunman Steven Kazmierczak had antidepressants in his system during his school shooting rampage-when he shot and killed five before committing suicide-bringing the total of recent psychiatric drug induced shootings to 54 dead and 105 wounded. Not a very thorough article. Antidepressants have a WARNING on the label that say that there is a side effect, especially in children, that they can cause an increase in depression. Also, we don't know if these people had a history of psychotic depression, schizophrenia, or another psychiatric disorder. We don't know if they had overdosed on these medications, or if they had mixed the medications with alcohol or a street drug. I hate it when people, especially non-medical groups take something like this a blow it out of context to make a story to further their cause.
